Bonus for Men!!! Co-Ed morning skills session & group ride with Kirt Voreis and Josh Bender…

We will start each day at Auburn Bike Company, with fundamental skills training and then drop into the Auburn Canyon to apply our skills on the trail (course descriptions available below).

DAY 1: Balance and body positioning, braking & shifting, cornering & switchbacks, wheel lifts
DAY 2: Manuals, bunnyhops, jumps & drops, high speed maneuvers

Lindsey Voreis is a certified mountain bike instructor who teaches skills clinics around the globe. Lindsey began racing mountain bikes in 1996, she runs a mtb promotional tour, The AllRide Tour, guides and teaches for Cog Wild Mountain Bike Tours and barely survived the tv show: Survivor: Africa.

Lindsay Beth Currier is the founder and director of Shine Riders Co., an organization aimed at progressing womens' freeride and gravity racing.  International Mountain Bike Instructor Certifified, Lindsay coaches, manages and competes with the Shine Gravity Race Team in addition to organizing freeride events, skills clinics and providing private coaching in California and Utah.

Kirt Voreis has been a professional mountain biker since 1994. He has been a driving force in the progression of mountain biking. Through his style and flair during a decade of world cup downhill racing, then competing in freeride competitions and filming for freeride videos riding street, skatepark, dirt jumps and downhill, he has inspired a new generation of all around mountain bikers.

Josh Bender has been a leading freeride pioneer since 1998.  Known for such feats as attempting the Jah Drop, Josh is a rider with the ability and vision to push his body and equipment to the limit and beyond. Josh has been featured in NWD 1 - 5, Redbull Rampage, Down, Double Down, Krusty Demons of Dirt 7 and many other extreme sports videos throughout his career.

This clinic is intended for an all-mountain or enduro bike.  All wheel sizes welcome but we reccommend 4-6" of travel and size and geometry that you can comfortably ascend and descend the canyon with.

We are very lucky that Auburn Bike Company has almost direct access to the Auburn SRA Trails!

DAY 1: Oh Clementine!  We will ride from the shop (.25 -.5miles) to trail access, and drop into the canyon on fireroad and/or singletrack.  We will climb (about 30-45 minutes, fireroad) from the confluence up to Culvert and then descend Culvert to Confluence.  We will then ride back up Stagecoach to the shop (about 30 minutes fireroad).  If we have time, and you have the energy, we will add a special 30 minute loop(s) of more advanced and fun singletrack: Manzanita and/or Flood Trail.

DAY 2: Divide & Conquer! After our morning skills session we will drive/shuttle close to the trailhead of Connector. We will ride Connector to the Divide Loop and back to Connector.  Expect a 16 mile ride with rolling terrain, several short but sometimes steep climbs.  Roots, rocks, berms, small drops, climbs and high speeds compliment the beautiful scenery.
